Apple store in Covent Garden

The Apple Store at No 1, The Piazza, Covent Garden, on a Saturday evening. It opened in August 2010. Its opening hours are Mon-Sat: 9:00am - 9:00pm and Sun: noon - 6:00pm.

There was previously a restaurant on the site. It is at the entrance to the Piazza near Covent Garden tube station.

Somerset House and water fountains at night

The courtyard of Somerset House and its water fountains at night.
The current Somerset House was built as government offices around 1800. Parts of it were occupied for many years by the Inland Revenue with the courtyard used as a car park, but the buildings now house various art exhibitions and the courtyard is open to the public.
The water fountains will soon be replaced by an ice rink for the winter months. The courtyard has also been used for concerts and fashion shows in recent years.

An unusually warm, sunny Sunday afternoon in October in London Fields, Hackney, London E8. It was the 10th of October 2010, ie. 10.10.10.

Sun-bathing in October.

Not as busy as in the summer but unusual for October.
