The Regents Canal is dammed by the Gasometers in Cambridge Heath, East London for repairs to the canal walls. The canal and towpath between the gasometers and the Old Ford Lock is closed for 8 weeks from early February. The rainwater seems to be filling up the canal again.

Regents Canal temporary closure
The Regents Canal is being temporarily closed for 8 weeks for repairs to the canal walls between Victoria Park and Broadway Market. The barges have gone and the canal is being drained.

The ice rink was busy but the long exposure means that some skaters were moving too fast for the exposure and so appear as ghostly figures in the pictures.
