On Saturday, the 2013 Tour of Britain was going from Epsom to Guildford via the streets and country lanes of Dorking in Surrey.
Getting ready to watch the cyclists pass through Dorking
The bus stop is put to use
The excitement mounts
The leaders appear
But it is a bit of a blur (Sir Bradley Wiggins in gold)
And the race moves on
So it is back to normal in Dorking
The stage was won by Mark Cavendish in Guildford

London cycling
Found a cycle race going on around St James 's Park.
The start of the inaugural Prudential RideLondon Women's Grand Prix, a 15-lap criterium around a 1.3-mile circuit. The Wiggle team included Joanna Rowsell, Dani King and Laura Trott, the gold-medal winning riders in the Women's Team Pursuit at the 2012 London Olympics.
It had been cut to 45 minutes because of delays in earlier races. There were several breakaways as above, but it came to a sprint finish won by Laura Trott (Wiggle team) with Dani King fourth. Joanna Rowsell fell on the last lap and broke her collarbone.
